During his tenure as a graduate teaching associate and lecturer at the University of Tennessee, Matt acquired competence carefully thinking through ethical issues concerning law, politics, business, medicine, engineering, journalism, the environment and the like. He is an active member of the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, and often presents his research at their annual conference in Cincinnati. Matt is currently utilizing his expertise in the public sector as a Presidential Management Fellow, developing a Human Resource & Ethics community of practice for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
